A Yucatan Wedding in Mexico

How are you going to get it all done? Where do you begin?

Getting Married in Mexico
To get married in Mexico and have it legal in your own country, you will need to have a civil wedding. You may also add onto that a religious ceremony, but only the civil wedding will be recognized by the law.

Be sure to bring these documents with you:
-The tourist card you are given upon entering the country
-Original birth certificate
-Results of blood tests taken within 15 days prior to the wedding day
-Passport or drivers license
-Final divorce agreement, if applicable

THE FOLLOWING IS VERY IMPORTANT!

-You are going to need four witnesses at the ceremony who are all over 18 and have passports.

-Drivers licenses will not be accepted as identification.

-Your witnesses can be any nationality but they must have passports.
